Acceptance of the status quo is an admission of weakness. It is the relinquishment of possibility and abstention from change, from revolution, from progress, from the iconoclastic revolt against the mundane that results in the creation of things that matter. Accepting what is and refusing to demand and pioneer what can be is putting down the torch of greatness that need only be properly kindled and cared for to yield unimaginable results. Fear and weakness in the face of possibility and opportunity — that will seal fate just as surely as will courage and audacity in the face of the dark unknown.
